Continuous learning isn't only for superheroes

There's a constant evolution in the way we think and act, brought about by new understanding, new knowledge, and new abilities. Among the worst phrases that any individual can say would be "I already know that" because this could very well destroy any possibility of continuous learning. And once there's no learning, there's no growth.

What is "Continuous Learning" at an Individual Level - The constant learning of a person would entail a behaviour and perception changes as they hones and develops their own thinking, skills, and knowledge. An example of this will be! knowing how to handle a brand new situation, expanding skills and knowledge of a certain area, and figuring out another application outside of your current skills and knowledge.

In this degree, learning requires effort and time, and also the choice to want to learn. The only thing to do would be to make people understand the value of constant learning, and how it'll not only help the organization, but most importantly, it'll be an excellent advantage to the learner as well. Continuous learning at the individual level can be performed through workshops and seminars, trainings, coaching and mentoring, and also through actual application.

Continuous Learning in Team Level - Continuous learning for teams would be collective individual learning, meaning that if the members of the team acquire and share new knowledge and info, then team learning takes place. New knowledge can be in the shape of a theory, tool, idea, or concept whereas new skill can be in the shape of practices.

Continuous learning, therefore, holds a very significant place in each team that aims to succeed, the need that comes when teams understand that in order for them to efficiently perform their particular task, they need to acquire a brand new knowledge or skill. Such changes are more felt in people and teams, as they're fundamentally what comprise an organization. Continuous learning at this level can be accomplished through feedback from the workers themselves, from clients, and from customers. Getting opinions and ideas from all of these groups of individuals will allow an organization to figure out if changes or developments are needed in order to move forward. At this level, you will find various types of continuous learning that may take place.
